Communications Coordinator
We are looking for our next Communications Intern who is looking to become the next superstar. Are you someone who has a passion for making people say, “wow” through your work? If so, Implico Communications Inc. is looking for candidates like you!
Our paid, full-time remote internship runs from June 2022 through December 2022 and is designed to give you the authentic experience of working in an agency.
All Communications Intern positions are at Implico’s headquarters based in Dallas, TX. Applicants need to be willing to relocate during the course of the internship and provide their own transportation and accommodations to complete a 40-hour work week. This is a paid internship.
Why you will love this job
As an intern you will gain an understanding of how to organize, define and set expectations for a project with a client. You will also have an opportunity to participate with hands-on experience in the entire process from project intake, scheduling, revisions, and proofing. Additionally, as an intern you will be exposed to print vendors and how to spec print jobs.

- Gain hands-on experience managing communication projects
- Learn project intake and project set up including how to create project timelines
- Gain experience in working with the project management systems – Workfront Proof and Wrike
- Interact with print vendors including learning how to properly request quotes for print
- Facilitate the proofing process

Graphic Designer
As a graphic design intern, you take your learning to the next level. As an intern in graphic design, you will work on projects requiring a high degree of creativity and problem-solving skills. You will learn how to develop solutions and strategies to complex design challenges while applying your knowledge of visual principles, design conventions, and industry standards. Your work may include creating digital assets and designing logos and brochures.

Proofreader Intern

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, accuracy and proper grammar usage as they review written content from our team. They must be able to identify typos and other common writing mistakes while ensuring that all documents meet standards regarding syntax, style and overall readability.

- Ability to proofread/edit in a variety of formats and media, including PDF, PowerPoint, web pages, and Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with design and typography fundamentals
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, manage and efficiently complete multiple projects to meet shifting needs and deadlines
- Must be able to work in a face-paced environment
- Ability to work independently from others with little or no supervision
